Taking Measures to Address Issues Promptly and Effectively.

As soon as you identify which Honda dashboard warning light has been illuminated, it’s best to take measures to address the issue promptly and effectively. Take your vehicle to the nearest reputable shop or dealership or contact a professional mobile mechanic who can come to you and provide service onsite. Be sure to let them know which light was activated so they can diagnose the problem quickly and fix it as per manufacturer guidelines.

Check engine

A check engine light can come on for a variety of causes, from something as simple as a loose gas cap to something more serious like a damaged catalytic converter. It might potentially indicate internal engine breakdown. Ignoring the issue might turn a seemingly simple repair into an expensive and time-consuming one.

Check integrated motor assist

When the time on your battery is almost up, your cherished Honda Insight or Honda Civic hybrid IMA light will illuminate. Don’t be swayed by the Check Engine Light insurgents; this is one warning that demands your attention.

Because, while hybrids are 20-35% more fuel efficient than strictly gas-powered counterparts, an outdated battery might reduce your efficiency. That means not only is your automobile not performing optimally, but it may also no longer be cutting emissions by 25-35%.

Check diesel engine

Your “Check Engine Light” is just a warning light that has received data from a sensor linked to your vehicle’s ECM (engine control module). It might be a sign of essential maintenance or a warning of a severe component failure.

Diesel particle filter regeneration required

Particulate filters are intended to trap hazardous particles while also being able to regenerate themselves on a regular basis. The process of filling, cleaning, and emptying the particle filter is known as regeneration.

The soot produced by the combustion process of the vehicle is stored in the DPF ceramics and then burns off, avoiding the DPF from being blocked and trapping additional soot. The diesel particulate filter must reach high temperatures in order to regenerate.

Check power steering

The light indicates that the power steering system has failed and invites you to look into the problem. The cause may differ depending on the type of power steering system in your vehicle. The most typical cause of this problem with hydraulic power steering systems is a leak in the system resulting in a low fluid level.

Check collision mitigation brake system

The system is hot and idle if the indicator blinks. Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS) – This light indicates that CMBS is malfunctioning.

Check i-shift transmission

If your check transmission light is turned on, it is likely that something is wrong with your transmission or gearbox.

Check super handling all wheel drive

The SH-AWD light blinking while driving indicates that the differential temperature is too high. If this occurs, pull over to the side of the road when it is safe, shift into park, and idle the motor until the indication disappears.

Check adaptive cruise control

A yellow Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) alert indicates that action is needed. ACC is not yet available. When it is safe to do so, come to a complete stop and turn off the engine. Restart the vehicle and inspect the radar for obstructions such as dirt, ice, and so on.

Adaptive cruise control activated

You may select a gap between yourself and the cars ahead of you using adaptive cruise control. If the computer detects a closing gap ahead of you, it will use the brakes to slow your car and alert you with an audible chime, flashing lights, or a combination of the two.

Check lane keeping assist system

Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning alerts you with a quick, gentle steering wheel turn when you may be accidentally straying out of identified lane lines, allowing you to navigate securely back into your lane. Additional Lane Departure Warning signals may be sent if necessary.

Lane keeping assist system

A yellow lane assist light indicates that action is needed. When the lane assist system is activated and road markings cannot be recognized, this indicator light illuminates.

Cruise control activated

When the cruise control system is turned on, the cruise control light illuminates. This is a typical system operation feature.

Check super handling all wheel drive

The SH-AWD light blinking while driving indicates that the differential temperature is too high. If this occurs, pull over to the side of the road when it is safe, shift into park, and idle the motor until the indication disappears.

Alarm armed

Except for the motion sensors, “Alarm Armed” will arm all of your sensors. This is the arming mode you should use when staying inside your house to prevent activating one of your motion sensors.

Check collision mitigation brake system

The system is hot and idle if the indicator blinks. Collision Mitigation Braking SystemTM (CMBSTM) – This light indicates that CMBS is malfunctioning.

Check adaptive front lighting system

The adaptive lighting warning light indicates that the automated function for the front automobile headlights is malfunctioning, which might be caused by dirt.

Adaptive front lighting system switched off

AFS stands for adaptable front-lighting system, which refers to headlights that rotate in the direction a vehicle is turning to illuminate more of the road ahead rather than straight ahead. Adaptive front illumination is a phrase used by a number of automakers, including Honda, Mazda, and Toyota.

Rear fog light on

A rear fog light is a light that is installed on a vehicle to make it more visible from the back in severe fog; Sample 1 Example 2. A rear fog light is a light that is intended to make the vehicle more visible from the back by emitting a brighter red signal than the rear position (side) lights; Sample 1.

Front fog lights on

A front fog light is a sort of automobile light that assists the driver in seeing ahead of the car. It is situated beneath the headlight assembly and is intended to create a wide beam of light in the shape of a “bar,” with an abrupt cutoff at the top to prevent it from bouncing off of the fog.

Lights on

It simply means your light is turned on.

High beam on

It means that you are currently using your highly powered light which is suitable for night drive if you are not able to see a long distance from your car. It matters that you also think of the driver from opposite direction.

Check antilock braking system

ABS stands for antilock braking system, and if your car’s gauge cluster displays the ABS warning light, it implies the antilock system has been disengaged due to a malfunction.

Check vehicle stability assist system

If the VSA System Indicator illuminates and remains illuminated, it indicates that there is a problem with the system itself. If you spot it, pull over when it’s safe to do so and then restart the engine. If the light reappears, schedule a service inspection to determine the cause of the problem.

Vehicle stability assist off

If your dash’s VSA Off light is illuminated, it implies one of two things: During engine beginning, it is turned on for a self-check. The light will turn off within a few seconds in this instance. You’ve turned off the VSA, and the light is on to remind you that the system is not in use.

Vehicle stability assist activated

If the VSA System Indicator illuminates and remains turned on, it indicates that there is a problem with the system. If you spot it, pull over when it’s safe to do so and then restart the engine. If the light reappears, schedule a service inspection to determine the cause of the problem.

Message on the multi information display

A messageon the multi information display is shown, such as the system operating status, a malfunction, or an abnormality.

Fuel low

The primary function of the low fuel warning light is to alert the driver when the gasoline level is low. When this light illuminates, there will be some petrol remaining in the tank, but not much. If this light appears on your dashboard while you are driving, you should try to fill up as quickly as possible.

Low oil level

When the oil light on your dashboard illuminates, it may indicate that your car has low oil pressure. This decrease in oil pressure might indicate one of three things: you are running low on oil, your oil is unclean, or you have an oil leak.

Low engine oil pressure

When the oil warning light illuminates, it indicates that the engine oil pressure has decreased to a dangerously low level. A low oil pressure engine may soon ruin the engine.

Release parking brake / Low brake fluid level

If the parking brake is used or the brake fluid level in the reservoir is low, this warning light will illuminate. When the parking brake is removed, the light indicates that the brake fluid level is low. When the pads on disc brakes are badly worn, the brake fluid level is naturally reduced.

Check charging system

What happens when the battery/check charging system light illuminates? When this indicator illuminates, it indicates that the car is functioning purely on battery power. If the problem persists and your charging mechanism fails, the battery will be unable to recharge and will quickly discharge, leaving you with a dead battery.

Passenger side airbag deactivated

If you did not deactivate the airbag manually and the light is flashing “OFF,” there are a few possibilities, including a shopping bag or handbag on the seat. If the bag is heavy enough to activate the system but not heavy enough to be deemed safe for the airbag to deploy, the system may automatically switch off.

Passenger front airbag manually disabled

When there is a passenger in the front seat, the passenger airbag light should illuminate. When the passenger seat is unoccupied, this light will switch off. This light indicates that the passenger airbag is activated. If your passenger airbag light is off, the seat has been disabled manually by the vehicle’s owner.

Check supplemental restraint system

This indicates that the system is operational. If the indicator illuminates at any other time or does not illuminate at all, contact a mechanic as soon as possible. If you don’t, your airbags and seat belt tensioners may not function correctly in an emergency.

Driver seat belt reminder

When you start the car, the warning system warns you if the seatbelts are not tightened. For 30 seconds after the ignition is turned on, relevant symbols appear on the multifunction display. A light indicates that a passenger has correctly tightened their seatbelt, but an empty seat indicates that the seatbelt is yet to be attached.

Passenger seat belt reminder

A light indicates that a passenger has correctly tightened their seatbelt, but an empty seat indicates that the seatbelt is yet to be attached. When the automobile is traveling at more than 15mph, the device will also activate if it senses an unsecured seatbelt.

Auto High Beam System

Your high beam lights are controlled by the auto high beam system in this car which means that you do not have to control anything on this system.
